Smule to MP3

Save the audio of any Smule performance as an MP3 file.

Smule to MP3 takes the link of any public Smule performance and gives you its audio as a clean file you can keep: your solos, your duets, that one take where everything finally clicked. Paste the link in the box above and press the button — no app, no account, no watermark on audio.

Why save the audio of your Smule songs

  • Smule deletes free accounts’ recordings after a period of time. The MP3 on your phone is yours forever.
  • Listen anywhere — car, music player, WhatsApp voice note to your duet partner, a USB stick for the weekend barbecue.
  • Audio is light: a 4-minute performance is a few MB, against tens of MB for the video version.
  • Keep your progress — singers who record regularly keep dated audio files to hear how their voice improves.

How to convert a Smule song to MP3

1. In the Smule app or on smule.com, open the performance and copy its link (Share → Copy link).
2. Paste the link in the box at the top of this page and press Download Now.
3. When the result appears, choose the audio option and save the file. On Android it lands in Downloads; on iPhone, in the Files app.

What links work

Any public performance link from smule.com — solo, duet or group, from your own profile or anyone else’s public profile. Private performances are only visible to their owner and cannot be fetched. If you want the video with the lyrics overlay instead, use the Smule video downloader; if you want it clean, see downloading without the watermark.

Does the MP3 keep the full duet?
Yes. The audio file contains the complete performance exactly as it plays on Smule, both voices of a duet included.
Can I download my own old recordings?
Yes, as long as the performance is still public on your profile. That is exactly what this tool is for — Smule removes recordings of free accounts over time, so saving your own takes matters.
Why did I get an M4A file instead of MP3?
Smule stores some performances as M4A (AAC audio). It plays in all modern players; if a device refuses it, any free converter turns it into MP3 without meaningful quality loss.
Do I need the Smule VIP subscription?
No. The tool works with any public performance link, whether the account that recorded it is free or VIP.
